This blog has been developed with a view to catering to the needs of teachers and learners at the higher secondary level. A treasure-trove of resources in Mathematics for teachers and learners alike, this blog serves as a learning repository that continually gets replenished. When the pandemic Covid-19 erected an invisible boundary between the student community and teachers, Kerala could overcome all the limitations therein by switching to the digital mode of innovative learning. This humble endeavour aims at casting an indelible mark of the teacher community in Mathematics, on the digital world of learning. The great shift from the traditional classroom situation and learning materials which are/were textbooks, to the most modern ICT integrated digital classroom has catapulted the learner to a wider world of knowledge construction.

The new step in teaching methodology – the techno pedagogy – has effected changes in the mindset and approach of teachers as well. The learning resources that are always handy is in a way the materialisation of the great dream of democratisation of knowledge. And there lies the relevance of this blog. The multifarious concepts and methodologies in Math appeal to popular taste. It is this aspect of its very nature that makes Math different from other streams of knowledge. It is because of this that Math learning at the higher secondary level becomes the foundation stone for higher learning. This blog has been conceptualised with this perspective in mind.

A variety of items such as chapter-wise summary of concepts, model questions, video inputs that assist learning, Geogebra Applets, previous years’ question papers and new projects are woven into the fabric of the blog. Math learning at the higher secondary level was elevated to a new template when the IT Math Lab was introduced in 2019, to make it process-oriented as well as creative. Our blog provides immense support in every sense to make the IT Math Lab functional and effective. Along with that, we wish to receive support and encouragement from all who passionately love Mathematics so that we can provide the learners, useful inputs on contemporary changes and relevant tips.
